What can I expect during the Rescue Diver course ?

PADI‘s Rescue Diver course highlights potential hazards and common emergencies through practical scenarios to show how best to manage these situations.

As with the PADI Open Water Diver course, the first step of the PADI Rescue Diver certification is the online e-learning theory component. This theory will develop your understanding of how to handle and avoid dive related emergencies. You can even complete this at home before you arrive so we can solely focus on the practical in-water component of the course. These practical exercises start with aspects of self-rescue before moving on to recognising and responding to signs of diver stress, working up to simulated rescue scenarios.
