PADI Open Water Diver

Overview of the Open Water

Take your first big step in your diving journey with the PADI Open Water Diver course, becoming a fully qualified diver with a world renowned scuba diving certificate by the end of the course !

What can I expect during the Open Water course ?

This is PADI‘s first certification level, introducing you to all the skills you’ll need on a dive, allowing you to dive confidently down to a depth of 18m.

The first step of this certification is to complete the PADI Open Water E-learning. Once you have booked your course and sent us the relevant information, you will receive the instructions for your PADI E-learning. We recommend you complete this theory component before you arrive so that you can focus on the best part of this course : the diving ! Once you arrive, you’ll have your first scuba diving experience in our pool so that you can get more comfortable diving within this controlled, confined water environment. In the pool, your scuba diving instructor will take you through all the necessary skills you’ll need throughout the course. Over the next two days you’ll be ready for your first four open water dives at our incredible local dive sites in Tulamben. During each dive your PADI instructor will assess your skills before taking you on a celebratory exploration dive around the outside of the shipwreck down to a maximum depth of 18 metres.
