Start your day right with a spectacular Balinese sunrise from the middle of the Bali Sea. These early morning trips are run by the local fishermen using their traditional fishing boats known as \u201cJukung\u201d. While you are almost guaranteed to see an amazing sunrise, you may also be lucky enough to see dolphins, so keep an eye out! After your day filled with fun volunteering activities you can unwind at Amed\u2019s Sunset point. Here they serve great drinks and snacks for you to enjoy as you watch the sun set behind Mt. Agung. Lempuyang Temple<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This temple is one of the most famous photo spots on the island, and for good reason. The temple is built into the side of a mountain and the gates of the temple face outwards with Mt. Agung in the backdrop. This view earns it the \u201cHeaven\u2019s Gate\u201d moniker as walking up the stairs and seeing the views from the temple can seem like heaven on earth. Lempuyang temple is only 40 minutes from our dive resort by car so you\u2019ll be able to visit after volunteering to catch the breathtaking view as the sun sets behind Mt. Agung.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Gili Islands are among the top-tier of tropical paradise islands worldwide. With pristine white sand beaches, calm turquoise water, and vibrant coral reefs it\u2019s clear to see why. Some of the most famous Gili locals are the big, friendly green turtles easily found while snorkelling or diving around turtle point. There\u2019s no motorized transport on the islands and so bicycles are the most popular way to get around. Wake up early for a sunrise you\u2019ll never forget, cresting over the top of a volcano. The summit of Mt Batur is a deeply sacred place to the people of Bali, and as you watch the dawn break over the sea and the rice terraces, we\u2019re sure you will understand why. The hike is too strenuous, lasting only a few hours, although you will of course begin walking under moonlight. There are lots of beautiful waterfalls all across Bali, especially in our nearby Buleleng Regency. Yeh Mempeh waterfall is a well kept local secret, with 30metre clear falls accessed by a short trek through beautiful jungle scenery. Aling-Aling waterfall offers some of the best cliff jumping around, from 5m to 15m jumps, as well as a relaxing swim again amidst beautiful jungle surroundings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Known for its picturesque clifftop views and white sand beaches, Nusa Penida is only a short boat trip away from the mainland. Relatively untouched by tourism, visit the sacred temples here for a true insight to Balinese life, especially Goa Giri Putri, where the locals worship within a cave accessed by a winding staircase.
